Accessibility Statement

Willow Tree Speech Therapy is committed to ensuring this website is accessible to disabled people. We continually work to improve the experience for all visitors and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Our Commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to disabled people, including those who are blind or have low vision, are Deaf or hard of hearing, have motor differences, or process information differently.

Current Status

We have recently completed a manual audit of this website and have made the following improvements:

  • Corrected heading structure across all pages to support screen reader navigation

  • Ensured logical reading order throughout the site

We are aware of the following known limitations:

  • Contact form labels: Two form fields on our Contact page are missing programmatic labels due to constraints of our website platform (Squarespace). We are actively monitoring for a platform-level fix. In the meantime, please reach us directly by phone or email if you experience difficulty using the contact form.

  • Color contrast: Some text and background color combinations on this site may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios. We are reviewing our color theme and working toward full compliance.

  • Redundant links: Some navigation links are duplicated due to our website template structure. This is a known Squarespace limitation.
